PASS PRIVILEGES. The District will provide free transportation over its lines during normal hours of operation to full-time employees and pensioners and their spouses and dependent children, provided they properly display their District identification card. Dependent children under the age of five (5) years will not be required to display their identification cards. Dependent children include unmarried children (including legally adopted children) to their nineteenth (19th) birthday, or to their twenty-third (23rd) birthday if they are enrolled full-time at an accredited institution of learning, provided such children are dependent on the employee for their support and maintenance. There will be a ten dollar ($10) fee to replace an employee‟s identification card. In any twelve (12 month period): Dependents will be charged a ten dollar ($10) fee to replace a dependent‟s first identification card. The fee to replace any subsequent dependent‟s identification card shall be twenty dollars ($20). On the third request, and any subsequent requests, the fee to replace the identification card shall be twenty dollars ($20) and there will be a three (3) month waiting period. These fees may be waived by the District upon verifiable proof of the reasonableness of loss or destruction. The District will provide five (5) identification cards for ATU Local 1555 and ten (10) identification cards for SEIU 1021 for representatives designated by name by the Unions authorizing free transportation on the system. Failure to properly display identification or any attempt to misuse this privilege will be cause for refused entry into the system, revocation of privilege and/or disciplinary action. Pass privileges will be revoked when an employee is terminated from the District. Spouse‟s and eligible dependent children‟s pass privileges shall continue upon the retirement of an employee. When an employee who has retired from District services dies:
