Common use of PASSING GRADE Clause in Contracts

PASSING GRADE. Tuition, certification fees, and textbook costs involved in educational courses which may be taken by an employee and which pertain to his/her City employment, shall be reimbursed to said employee by the City. The employee participating must achieve a passing grade of a “C” or better, Credit/No Credit or a Certificate of Completion and should see that the Human Resources Manager receives a copy, where appropriate, of the employee’s grade(s) before any reimbursement.
