BENEFIT REVIEW COMMITTEE. CMFA shall maintain two representatives on the City’s Benefit Review Committee. The Committee continually evaluates the City’s benefit programs and makes recommendations on plan changes, benefit levels, payroll deductions and the addition or deletion of plans. Participation on the Benefit Review Committee meets the City’s obligation to negotiate with CMFA on changes to the City’s group benefit plans unless CMFA determines that such changes are detrimental to the interest of its members.

BENEFIT REVIEW COMMITTEE. The parties shall form a committee comprising up to two (2) members appointed by each side to review the provisions of articles 10 and 11. This committee is required to make decisions on the basis of consensus. It shall have a mandate to make recommendations to the Employer and the Union regarding changes that may be made to articles 10 and 11 in order to amend the benefits under those articles (including but not limited to the possibility of introducing a LTD plan, amending the requirements governing the provision of doctor's notes and/or improving the sick leave provisions). Any benefit change recommended by the Committee must be at not additional cost to the Employer and must be paid for out of objective and provable savings generated by other changes made to the terms and conditions of this Agreement or to other aspects of the benefit plans recommended by the Committee.   • JOINT LABOR MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE In order to encourage open communication, promote harmonious labor relations, and resolve matters of mutual concern, the parties agree to create a joint labor- management committee. The committee will be governed by the following principles:

  • Joint Labor/Management Committees Purpose and Membership. Joint Labor/Management Committees are established to provide a forum for communications and problem-solving between the two parties and to deal with matters of a general personnel Union/Employer concern, as well as professional practices within the hospital related to patient care and professional issues. The Committees will work toward the improvement of patient care and recommend ways and means to improve patient care; and will address problems and concerns related to staffing and workloads. The Committees’ function will be limited to an advisory capacity and shall not include any decision making or collective bargaining authority. Committee memberships:

  • Training Committee The parties to this Agreement may form a Training Committee. The Training Committee will be constituted by equal numbers of Employer nominees and ETU employee representatives and have a charter which clearly states its role and responsibilities. It shall monitor the clauses of this Agreement which relate to training and ensure all employees have equal access to training.

  • Joint Benefits Committee In order to achieve benefit cost reductions, or at a minimum, cost containment, the parties agree to establish and aggressively participate in a Joint Benefits Committee. The parties agree that the Joint Benefits Committee shall explore all potential options or changes that could generate cost reductions to the Benefit Plans with the following order of priorities:

  • TRANSITION COMMITTEE 8.1.0 A transition committee comprised of the employee representatives and the employer representatives, including the Crown, will be established by January 31, 2016 to address all matters that may arise in the creation of the Trust.

  • Benefits Committee As per LOA#10, a benefits committee comprised of the employee representatives and the employer representatives, including the Crown, shall convene upon request to address all matters that may arise in the operation of the OSSTF ELHT.

  • LABOR MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE 1. A Statewide Labor Management Committee consisting of not more than five (5) members selected by the VSEA from among bargaining units represented by VSEA and not more than five (5) members selected by the State shall meet periodically to discuss a mutually agreed agenda which may include methods of improving labor relations, productivity, safety, and health problems of a continuing nature, or other problems which have an impact on conditions of employment; provided, however, these sessions are not for the purpose of discussing pending grievances or for collective bargaining on any subject.

  • Staffing Committee A. Responsibilities. The Nurse Staffing Committee (“NSC”) shall be responsible for determining the Institute’s staffing plan and resolving complaints raised by nurses regarding the implementation of the plan as well as those activities required of it under RCW 70.41, et seq and its successors.
