Patrol Assignments Sample Clauses

The Patrol Assignments clause defines how security or monitoring personnel are designated to specific areas or routes within a property or facility. It typically outlines the frequency, timing, and specific locations that must be covered during patrols, and may specify responsibilities such as reporting incidents or checking access points. This clause ensures that all critical areas receive appropriate oversight, helping to deter unauthorized activity and maintain safety by providing clear expectations for patrol coverage.

Patrol Assignments. All regular and probationary Police Unit employees assigned to the traditional 10-plan Field Operations/Patrol shift schedule shall receive a 5% holiday in lieu add pay. This additional compensation is for employees who are normally required to work on an approved holiday because they work in positions that require scheduled staffing without regard to holidays. For Unit members required to work on an observed holiday, actual hours worked on the holiday will be paid at time and one half. These members who are permitted to take a holiday off that falls on a regularly scheduled work day shall use appropriate leave hours equivalent to the number of hours of their scheduled shift.
