Common use of Pay for Work on Statutory Clause in Contracts

Pay for Work on Statutory. Holidays on the normal calendar day, or the legal date for observance of the statutory holiday established by legislation. Premium pay provisions shall not apply under any circumstances to a day in lieu of the actual statutory holiday as may be established by the City. 8.01.05 Where the City:  designates a day in lieu of the actual statutory holiday for the majority of its employees; and  an employee is assigned such day off with pay; and  because of conditions of the service the employee is required to report to work, such employee shall receive the off day premium as provided in Article 6.04-
