Common use of Pay on Temporary Assignment Clause in Contracts

Pay on Temporary Assignment. An employee temporarily assigned by the Employer to a position with a rate of pay lower than his/her regular rate of pay shall maintain his/her regular rate of pay for a maximum period of three (3) months. Where the temporary assignment extends beyond three (3) months, the employee shall be paid the appropriate rate of pay for the job being performed.
