Payment Allocation. Subject to applicable law, your payments may be applied to what you owe the Credit Union in any manner the Credit Union chooses. However, in every case, in the event you make a payment in excess of the required minimum periodic payment, the Credit Union will allocate the excess amount first to the balance with the highest annual percentage rate and any remaining portion to the other balances in descending order based on applicable annual percentage rate.

Payment Allocation payment amounts under the MSFAA-Canada will be allocated proportionately to the Outstanding Loan Balance under the MSFAA-Canada. The payment amount allocated to the Outstanding Loan Balance under the MSFAA-Canada may be applied first to interest and then to principal;
Payment Allocation. We allocate payments at our discretion as permitted by applicable law. The amount of your payment equal to the Total Minimum Payment Due will be allocated first to unpaid Transaction Fees, Account Fees, and Minimum Interest Charges, then to unpaid interest charges, then to the balance with the highest APR and then to balances with lower APRs. Payment amounts in excess of your Total Minimum Payment Due will be applied to balances with higher APRs before balances with lower APRs.
Payment Allocation. If you have balances with different interest rates, any amount paid over the minimum payment will be applied first to balances with the highest rates, so you can pay down your balance quicker by paying more than the minimum payment. Subject to applicable law, your payments thereafter may be applied to what you owe the Credit Union in any manner the Credit Union chooses.

Payment Allocation. We may select and change the method by which payments and credits are allocated to your account at our sole discretion; however, payments will be allocated to billed amounts before they are allocated to unbilled amounts (transactions incurred since your last statement) and payments amounts in excess of the required minimum monthly payment will be applied to higher rate balances before they are applied to lower rate balances. Payment for more than the minimum amount due will be accepted as a single payment for the month; the amount over the minimum is not applied toward future payments due.

When the Customer makes a payment, Royal Bank will apply the payment amount first to any interest, second to balances that have previously been billed and third to the balance that has been billed on each Cardholder Account for the first time. If the Customer makes a payment which exceeds the New Balance, Royal Bank will apply any payment in excess of the New Balance to amounts that have not yet appeared on a Billing Statement in the same manner as set out above. Credits arising from returns or adjustments are generally first applied to transactions of a similar type, second to any interest and Fees, and the remainder to other Debt owing in the same manner as Royal Bank applies payments in excess of the Minimum Payment.
