The Contracting Authority’s use of subcontractors If the Contracting Authority enters into an agreement with subcontractors, the Contracting Authority is responsible for and bears all cost regardless of the agreed budget for the work that will be carried out by the subcontractor. The Contracting Authority shall ensure that subcontractors engaged by the Contracting Authority supply products and/or services at the right time, in the right manner and of the right quality. The Contracting Authority shall notify the Agency before engaging subcontractors and is obliged to take due consideration of any comments that the Agency might have. Advertising film If an assignment involves the production of advertising film, the Agency shall enter into an agreement with a production company regarding the production of advertising film for the Contracting Authority. The Agency shall submit the production agreement for the Contracting Authority’s approval before the agreement is signed.
