PAYMENT FOR MEETING ATTENDANCE. 17.01 When the Employer requires an employee to be present at a meeting called by the Employer, during the employee’s scheduled working hours, time spent at such a meeting shall be considered as time worked. 17.02 Any employee who is required to attend a meeting before or after their assigned working hours shall be paid for the time actually spent at the meeting and, subject to Article 9 Overtime, at the employee's appropriate hourly rate of pay. Where employees are required to attend a meeting not before or after their assigned working hours, the employee shall be paid for the greater of time actually spent at the meeting or three (3) hours at the employee's appropriate hourly rate.
