Common use of Payment in Lieu Treated as Service Clause in Contracts

Payment in Lieu Treated as Service. If G4S makes payment in lieu for all or any of the period of notice prescribed by clause 37.1 of this Agreement then the period for which such payment is made shall be treated as service for the purposes of computing any service related entitlements of the employee arising pursuant to this Agreement and shall be deemed to be service with G4S for the purposes of the Long Service Leave Act 1992 (Victoria) as amended from time to time.
