Common use of Payment of Travel Time Clause in Contracts

Payment of Travel Time. Except in the case of a lay-off, travel time will only be paid provided the employee remains in employment for a minimum of twenty (20) calendar days measured from the date of arrival at the Project Camp Site. Travel time shall be paid and included with the employee's first pay which occurs subsequent to the twenty (20) calendar day period, except in the case of a lay-off occurring prior thereto, in which case the travel time shall be paid and included with the employee's final pay.
