Payments in Lieu of Vacation. (a) In the event of an employee's resignation or discharge (for other than misconduct) before using all the vacation which the employee is eligible to accrue under Paragraph 1 (Eligibility), an amount equivalent to such unused accrued vacation shall be paid to the employee.
