Performance against key performance indicators. A performance management framework has been designed for this contract and is fully detailed in Schedule 5 (Performance Management Framework). An SCH’s performance will be measured and scored against a number of key performance indicators and targets for the contract, on a quarterly basis. Thresholds have been set for underperformance and should an SCH’s quarterly performance score breach the relevant threshold then a performance deduction (financial) will be applicable. The deduction will be limited to 5% of the total quarterly payment for guaranteed places applicable to the relevant quarter. Any financial deduction would be made from payment due to the SCH for the invoice submitted for the second month of the following quarter. The calculation for payment for performance is: “Invoice value for the three months in the relevant quarter” x 5%.
