Performance Evaluation Schedule. Performance evaluations and pay step advancements while serving an acting appointment/temporary upgrade are provided according to the schedules described below: A. Not at the top step. If the employee is not at the top pay step of their original/home classification, then there is no change to the employee’s schedule for performance evaluations and eligibility for merit step advancements. The employee will keep their current/original evaluation date.
