Common use of Performance of Research and Development Clause in Contracts

Performance of Research and Development. Each Party agrees to comply with, and to ensure that its contractors and agents comply with the Protocol, SOW, applicable Federal laws, VA policies, Executive Orders, and regulations including but not limited to 38 C.F.R. Parts 16 and 17, 21 C.F.R. Parts 50, 56, and 312 as applicable to the research described in the Protocol. Such regulations include, but are not limited to, the Standards for Privacy of Individually Identifiable Health Information and the Security Standards for the Protection of Electronic Protected Health Information (45 C.F.R. Parts 160 and 164), as well as those set forth in VA’s security directives.
