Common use of Periodic Trips Clause in Contracts

Periodic Trips. (a) An employee, assigned to a headquarters in Ontario or Quebec, who is receiving living expenses, while on a job assignment in Ontario or Quebec, shall be entitled to a trip to and from his home once every week. Such employee shall be paid on a straight time basis for travel time required by commercial transport to the extent that such time is outside the time paid for work on that day. In addition, he shall be paid for transportation expenses.
