Common use of PERMITS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Clause in Contracts

PERMITS AND RESPONSIBILITIES. The Contractor is responsible for obtaining all necessary licenses and permits, and for complying with any Federal, State, and municipal laws, codes, and regulations applicable to the performance of the Work.

PERMITS AND RESPONSIBILITIES. The Contractor is shall be responsible for processing of drawings for approval by the civil authorities and for obtaining all any necessary licenses and permits, and for complying with any Federal, State, State and municipal laws, codes, and regulations applicable to the performance of the Work. Owner will reimburse Contractor for the actual, documented costs of construction permits required for the performance of the Work. Contractor shall also be responsible for all damages to persons or property that occur as a result of Contractor's fault or negligence, and shall take proper safety and health precautions to protect the Work, the workers, the public, and the property of others. Contractor shall also be responsible for all materials delivered and work performed until completion and acceptance of the entire Work, except for any completed unit of work, which may have been accepted in writing under the Contract.

The Contractor will be similarly responsible for all damages to persons or property that occur as a result of their fault or negligence; will take proper safety and health precautions to protect the work, the public, and all the property of others; will also be responsible for all materials delivered and work performed until completion and acceptance of the contract.
