Personal Injury and Property Protection. 7.4.2.1 Where a teacher is absent from work for reason of a disability resulting from an accident incurred at work and during the performance of the teacher’s duties, including participation in work sponsored activities external to the teacher’s normal place of work in which the teacher is acting as the school authority, a teacher who is on the accumulative sick leave system shall be eligible to receive additional sick leave so that when added to the teacher’s accumulated sick leave ensures there will be no interruption of salary for the remainder of the elimination period for the Extended Disability Plan.
