Personal Life and Website Information. A. The personal life and off-duty actions of a unit member, except for items found in ORS 342.865 (Fair Dismissal Law) and to the extent it does not cause a substantial disruption to the school or workplace, is not an appropriate concern of the District. B. There shall be no release or display of personal information of a unit member on any district website broadcast without the member’s prior written permission. Personal information shall include, but not be limited to, the member’s biographical or educational background, home address, home phone number, cell phone number, personal e-mail address, and social security number. A unit member’s image may be included in district materials. If a unit member does not wish for their image to be so displayed, they may opt out by contacting the District’s Technology and Information Services Department.
