Physical Restraint Practices. A. Physical Restraint is prohibited unless the student’s behavior poses an imminent danger of serious physical injury to the student or others. Physical Restraint may not be used as a form of discipline or punishment, to force compliance with staff directions to a student, as a convenience to staff, or as a substitute for appropriate educational support.

Physical Restraint Practices a. Physical Restraint may not be used except in an emergency situation in which Physical Restraint is necessary to protect a student or other person from imminent, serious, physical harm after other less intrusive, nonphysical interventions have failed or been determined inappropriate. See Md. Code Regs. § 13A.08.04.05. Imminent, serious physical harm has the same meaning as “serious bodily injury” as used in the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (“IDEA”) and means bodily injury which involves: (i) A substantial risk of death; (ii) Extreme physical pain; (iii) Protracted and obvious disfigurement; or (iv) Protracted loss or impairment of the function of a bodily member, organ, or mental faculty. FAMILY RENTAL ONLY Reservations made for teenagers or young single groups will not be honored without any accompanying adult staying in the unit at ALL times. All guests must be 25 or older unless their parent is in the condo. Any violators will be evicted according to Florida Statute 508.141 with forfeiture of all monies. FALSIFIED RESERVATION any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of reservation deposit, damage deposit, and/or balance of rental payment.
