Common use of Physical Safeguards Clause in Contracts

Physical Safeguards. SSA and VA/VHA will store the data matched and any data created by the match in an area that is physically and technologically secure from access by unauthorized persons at all times. Only authorized personnel will transport the data matched and those created by the match. SSA and VA/VHA will establish appropriate safeguards for such data, as determined by a risk-based assessment of the circumstances involved.
