Plain Clothes Allowance. Bargaining unit members assigned to positions designated as “Plain Clothes” will receive a yearly clothing allowance of $500.00.
Plain Clothes Allowance. Each employee covered by this Agreement who is required to provide and wear ordinary clothing to perform his/her duties, shall be reimbursed by the Board for expenses incurred in the purchase of such clothing. Such reimbursement shall be paid quarterly in an amount not to exceed one thousand and twenty-five dollars ($1,025) per annum. Should an employee be required to perform his/her duties and provide and wear ordinary clothing in excess of thirty (30) days in any one calendar year, the employee shall be reimbursed by the Board on a pro rata basis for the period spent.
Plain Clothes Allowance. Each sworn officer covered by this agreement who is required to provide and wear ordinary clothing to perform their duties shall be reimbursed by the Employer for expenses incurred in the purchase of such clothing. Such reimbursement shall be paid quarterly in an amount not to exceed one thousand and twenty-five dollars ($1,025) per annum. In recognition of the requirement by the Employer to provide the plain clothes allowance in the previous agreements, unless otherwise mutually agreed or changed during subsequent negotiations, all sworn officers covered by this Agreement on March 28, 1996, shall be considered to be required to provide and wear ordinary clothing to perform their duties and are therefore entitled to the plain clothes allowance. For sworn officers who enter the bargaining unit after March 28, 1996, the clothing allowance would only be provided when designated by the Employer.
Plain Clothes Allowance. 32.1 The Employer agrees to pay a plain clothes allowance of one hundred dollars ($100.00) per month to Customs employees of the Enforcement Unit who because of the nature of their assignment are not provided with departmental uniform.
Plain Clothes Allowance. A Plain Clothes Allowance of One hundred and sixty dollars ($160.00) per month shall be paid to all ranks of Police Officers who are required to use plain clothes in the performance of their duties.
Plain Clothes Allowance. All employees assigned to plain-clothes duty requiring formal business attire shall be paid a clothing and cleaning allowance of $700.00. All employees assigned to plain-clothes duty requiring informal attire or employees in uniform assignments choosing to wear plain clothes shall be paid a clothing and cleaning allowance of $400.00. Plain clothes’ allowances will be paid in equal quarterly payments each year. The first allowance shall be paid upon a permanent assignment to plain-clothes duty. The Sheriff retains the right to determine plain clothes assignments.
Plain Clothes Allowance. Employees assigned to a plain clothes assignment in Criminal Investigations Division and School Resource Officer positions prior to January 1, 2009 for more than six (6) months shall receive six hundred dollars ($600.00) the first full pay period in January for the purchase of clothing. Employees assigned to Criminal Investigations Division and School Resource Officer positions after January 1, 2009 for more than six (6) months shall receive six hundred dollars ($600.00) upon assignment and on the anniversary of such assignment, paid the first full pay period following the date of assignment. Employees assigned to the Vice Unit shall receive five hundred ($500.00) upon initial assignment by separate check.
Plain Clothes Allowance. The City agrees to contribute $600 per year toward the purchase of plain clothing required by the bargaining unit personnel.
Plain Clothes Allowance. A. Members assigned to the Detective Bureau, Internal Affairs, SIU, Child Support Enforcement, Warrants and Extraditions, Environmental, SWAT and Civil Process who work in a plain clothes assignment shall receive a $750 clothing allowance paid in January 2019, $825 in July 2019, and $825 in January and July of 2020 and 2021. A member who transfers from a uniformed assignment to a plainclothes assignment after issuance of uniform allowance and prior to issuance of the next plain clothes allowance, shall receive the difference between the allowances provided in Sections 16.3(A) and 16.5, prorated for the number of pay periods remaining until the next plain clothes allowance. A member is entitled to the plain clothes allowance upon actual transfer to the assignment. A member receiving the plain clothes allowance who departs service within three months of the date the allowance checks are issued shall have his or her final paycheck adjusted by an amount equal to 1/13th of the allowance for each pay period the member is no longer employed by the Sheriff. The bargaining unit member released from his or her regular assignment pursuant to Section 3.10 (B) is entitled to the plain clothes allowance. A member released from his or her regular assignment for at least six consecutive weeks pursuant to Section 3.13 shall receive a pro-rated plain clothes allowance in an amount equal to the percentage of weeks of the year the member is released from his or her regular duties.
Plain Clothes Allowance. The Employer agrees to provide an allowance of Three Hundred and No/100 ($300.00) Dollars per year for any officer who is required, in the regular course of his/her duty on a permanent nature, to wear plain clothes. (This applies to Detective Sergeant and Lieutenant only).
