— Platoon Duty Staffing Standards. (A) Minimum Shifts (Bargaining Unit Employees) Each shift shall be staffed with no less than seven (7) bargaining unit firefighter employees provided the minimum may be reduced to six (6) bargaining unit firefighter employees if no platoon duty officer (Lieutenant or Battalion Chief) is off duty or when the bargaining unit firefighter is participating in mandatory classes or training pursuant to §16.1 of this Agreement. Effective on January 1, 2022, the minimum may be reduced to five (5) on each day that three (3) bargaining unit firefighter employees are on scheduled leave as set forth in Section 5.7(B). Each shift shall be staffed with no less than three (3) bargaining unit Lieutenant employees provided the minimum may be reduced to two (2) Lieutenants for paid time off or when the Lieutenant employee is participating in mandatory classes or training pursuant to §16.1 of this Agreement, so long as a Battalion Chief is on duty. Each shift shall be staffed with no less than twelve (12) platoon duty employees which may consist of a combination of a Battalion Chief, bargaining unit employees, platoon part time employees and part time employees.

  • Licensing Standards The Contractor, its employees and subcontractors shall comply with all applicable licensing standards, certification standards, accrediting standards and any other laws, rules, or regulations governing services to be provided by the Contractor pursuant to this Contract.
