Apparatus Staffing. Engine, truck and combination rescue companies shall be deployed for emergency services purposes at the level of one Fire Captain, one Fire Apparatus Operator and one Fire Fighter. Truck companies have the option of deploying at the level of two Fire Apparatus Operators instead of one Fire Apparatus Operator and one Firefighter. This option shall be determined by seniority. Paramedic ambulance staffing shall be two personnel; the City will dispatch personnel on Emergency Medical Service calls such that a minimum of 1 licensed paramedic responds. The Foothill Fire Station #8, when activated by the Fire Chief, shall be staffed with a minimum of one Fire Apparatus Operator and one Fire Fighter. City may dispatch a two-person quick response vehicle with a minimum of 1 paramedic.

Apparatus Staffing. The District shall make every attempt to keep companies intact throughout the duty day to promote synergy within the company. Apparatus responding to emergencies shall minimally be staffed by three (3) or more employees with the exception of the tender, brush truck or specialized response vehicles. The Station One ambulance shall normally be staffed by a minimum of two (2) employees, but efforts shall be made to staff the third position on the ambulance and Station Two and Three ambulances shall generally be staffed with a minimum of three (3) or more employees.

The City shall maintain three (3) personnel on all fire suppression apparatus capable of pumping water, or heavy rescues, in service at all times except this shall not include light rescues vehicles. 2. There shall be a minimum of an Officer and Driver/Operator on all Light Rescue Vehicles.
Apparatus Staffing. The minimum daily staffing level for the Columbia Fire Department shall be as specified in OB ATT-7, as included as an appendix to this Agreement. The aforementioned notwithstanding, the parties agree that during the term of this Agreement the City shall recommend the City’s risk profile, Standard of Cover, and appropriate staffing levels for the Columbia Fire Department to the City Council for their consideration. The City has sought input from the Union on the development of the City’s risk profile, Standard of Cover and recommended staffing levels, and will continue to allow the Union the opportunity to comment on the development of the City’s proposals to City Council. The parties agree that, in accordance to Section 5.06.2 of this Agreement, the issue of increases in apparatus staffing is unresolved and shall be subject to further discussion in accordance with Section 5.06 of this Agreement.

Efforts to restore the staffing levels include, but are not limited to, detailing personnel from another apparatus, hiring back off-duty personnel, or placing a vehicle out-of- service. Each type of apparatus listed below that the Fire Department decides to place in-service shall normally be manned by the following personnel: Engine Company: 1 Lieutenant, 1 Engineer, 1 Firefighter or Firefighter/Paramedic Truck Company: 1 Lieutenant, 1 Engineer, 1 Firefighter or Firefighter/Paramedic Squad Company: 2 Firefighters (Paramedics and/or EMT-B’s) Ambulance Company: 2 Paramedics An employee serving in acting capacity may be used in lieu of a Lieutenant or Engineer.

  • Staffing There shall be a clinician employed by the outside contractor for EAP Services who will be on-site a minimum of 20 hours a week. The audit trail must be date and time stamped, must log both successful and 23 failed accesses, must be read only, and must be restricted to authorized users. If such PHI is stored in a 24 database, database logging functionality must be enabled. Audit trail data must be archived for at least 3 25 years after occurrence.

  • Network Interconnection Architecture Each Party will plan, design, construct and maintain the facilities within their respective systems as are necessary and proper for the provision of traffic covered by this Agreement. These facilities include but are not limited to, a sufficient number of trunks to the point of interconnection with the tandem company, and sufficient interoffice and interexchange facilities and trunks between its own central offices to adequately handle traffic between all central offices within the service areas at a P.01 grade of service or better. The provisioning and engineering of such services and facilities will comply with generally accepted industry methods and practices, and will observe the rules and regulations of the lawfully established tariffs applicable to the services provided.

  • Interfaces GTE provides the CLECs with choices for access to OSS pre-ordering, ordering, maintenance and repair systems. Availability of the interfaces is fundamental to the CLEC being able to effectively do business with GTE. Additionally, in many instances, CLEC personnel must work with the service personnel of GTE. Measurements in this category assess the availability to the CLECs of systems and personnel at GTE work centers.

  • Access Toll Connecting Trunk Group Architecture 9.2.1 If CSTC chooses to subtend a Verizon access Tandem, CSTC’s NPA/NXX must be assigned by CSTC to subtend the same Verizon access Tandem that a Verizon NPA/NXX serving the same Rate Center Area subtends as identified in the LERG. 9.2.2 CSTC shall establish Access Toll Connecting Trunks pursuant to applicable access Tariffs by which it will provide Switched Exchange Access Services to Interexchange Carriers to enable such Interexchange Carriers to originate and terminate traffic to and from CSTC’s Customers. 9.2.3 The Access Toll Connecting Trunks shall be two-way trunks. Such trunks shall connect the End Office CSTC utilizes to provide Telephone Exchange Service and Switched Exchange Access to its Customers in a given LATA to the access Tandem(s) Verizon utilizes to provide Exchange Access in such LATA. 9.2.4 Access Toll Connecting Trunks shall be used solely for the transmission and routing of Exchange Access to allow CSTC’s Customers to connect to or be connected to the interexchange trunks of any Interexchange Carrier which is connected to a Verizon access Tandem.

  • Screening After you sign and date the consent document, you will begin screening. The purpose of the screening is to find out if you meet all of the requirements to take part in the study. Procedures that will be completed during the study (including screening) are described below. If you do not meet the requirements, you will not be able to take part in the study. An ECG measures the electrical activity of the heart • You may be tested for COVID-19 o Blood tests for human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), hepatitis B, and hepatitis C o Blood tests to see how your blood clots ▪ Fibrinogen ▪ PT/INR/aPTT o Blood tests for amylase and lipase (enzymes that help with digestion, Part B only) o Blood tests for a lipid (fats) panel (Part B only) ▪ Total cholesterol ▪ Triglycerides ▪ HDL ▪ Direct HDL o Blood tests to check your thyroid function (Part B and Part C only) ▪ TSH ▪ Free T4 o Urine to test for drugs of abuse (illegal and prescription) o Urine tests to check your albumin/ creatinine ratio o Females who have not had a period for at least 12 months in a row will have a blood hormone test to confirm they cannot have children • The study investigator may decide to do an alcohol breath test • The use of proper birth control will be reviewed (males only) • You will be asked “How do you feel?” HIV, hepatitis B, and hepatitis C will be tested at screening. If anyone is exposed to your blood during the study, you will have these tests done again. If you have a positive test, you cannot be in or remain in the study. HIV is the virus that causes acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). If your HIV test is positive, you will be told about the results. It may take weeks or months after being infected with HIV for the test to be positive. The HIV test is not always right. Having certain infections or positive test results may have to be reported to the State Department of Health. This includes results for HIV, hepatitis, and other infections. If you have any questions about what information is required to be reported, please ask the study investigator or study staff. Although this testing is meant to be private, complete privacy cannot be guaranteed. For example, it is possible for a court of law to get health or study records without your permission.

  • Workstation/Laptop encryption All workstations and laptops that process and/or store DHCS PHI or PI must be encrypted using a FIPS 140-2 certified algorithm which is 128bit or higher, such as Advanced Encryption Standard (AES). The encryption solution must be full disk unless approved by the DHCS Information Security Office.
