POL FOR ONE-WAY OR ROUND TRIPS. Upon completion of one-way or round trip missions, contractors shall be allowed to purchase POL at DESC standard price for ferrying from one coast to another when positioning to originate another AMC mission. Fuel at DESC standard price also will be provided to permit the return of an aircraft to the opposite coast (or any point short of the opposite coast) if the mission originated on the opposite coast regardless of the location of the contractor’s home base. Contractors may not transit other Air Force bases enroute while ferrying cross-country.
