Police Internship Program. 9 The Department may create and implement a Police Internship Program for individuals who 10 are interested in becoming Austin Police officers. Anyone hired into the Internship Program 11 must pass the same screening and testing procedures as applicants for the position of Police 12 Cadet, either at the beginning or at the end of their participation in the Program.
