Policy Relating to Continuing Teaching Excellence and Professional Improvement After Tenure. After tenure is granted to a Faculty member, it becomes the responsibility of each tenured Faculty member to maintain his or her teaching excellence and pursue professional improvement. It will be the primary responsibility of the tenured Faculty members as a group to maintain a program of professional improvement. The District will maintain a program of continuing evaluation of instruction to facilitate this process. [See Article 14: Post Tenure Evaluation]
