Common use of Position Classification & Appeal Clause in Contracts

Position Classification & Appeal. a. It is agreed that an employee will be notified in writing when an appropriate determination has been made to downgrade or upgrade the employee's position as a result of classification action. The notification will include available appeal procedures. Grades of jobs will not be downgraded except through proper application of classification standards to officially approved job descriptions.
