Posted Schedules. Shift and standby schedules shall be posted four (4) weeks in advance of the schedule to be worked. The schedule will cover a period of not less than two (2) weeks and not more than twelve (12) weeks unless a longer period is mutually agreed between the Constituent Union and the Employer. (a) However, the Employer shall post the schedule for the period of July 1st to August 31st by June 1st of each year and for the period of December 15th to January 2nd by November 15th of each year. (b) A Nurse may request specific days off or to exchange days off with another Nurse within the period of the posted schedule unless otherwise approved by the Employer. The Employer may require the request to be in writing. Consent shall not be unreasonably withheld by the Employer provided that the Nurse has given reasonable notice of the change requested, it is operationally feasible and there is no financial cost to the Employer.
