Common use of Practice of Medicine Clause in Contracts

Practice of Medicine. The parties hereto acknowledge that Stanford Health Care ValleyCare is not authorized or qualified to engage in any activity which may be construed or deemed to constitute the practice of medicine. To the extent any act or service herein required of Stanford Health Care ValleyCare should be construed or deemed to constitute the practice of medicine, the performance of said act or service by Stanford Health Care ValleyCare shall be deemed waived or forever unenforceable.
