Common use of Pre-Arbitration Clause in Contracts

Pre-Arbitration. The Chief Executive Officer or his designate shall meet with the Union Representative within fifteen (15) calendar days of receipt of the Union's Notice of the Intent to Arbitrate. The Parties will attempt to resolve the grievance, or alternatively explore common ground respecting the matter and agree upon an Arbitrator from the following list:
