Common use of PREAMBLE Clause in Contracts

PREAMBLE. This is an application made in accordance with Division 2 of Part VIB of the Workplace Relations Act 1996 (the Act) to certify the above named agreement between the parties mentioned above. The application was heard by me in Melbourne on 4 March 2004. On the basis of the Statutory Declarations filed by the parties to the agreement and the submissions made at the hearing, I am of the view, having regard to the applicable provisions of the Act, I am required to certify the agreement.
