Common use of Preceptor Program Clause in Contracts

Preceptor Program. In those instances where employees are assigned as Preceptors, they shall be paid a differential of fifty cents ($0.50) per hour for all time spent tutoring other employees to a department/unit. The Preceptor will work in a "buddy" system on a one-to-one basis, sharing a single work assignment with the employee. The performance of the Preceptor shall be the direct responsibility of the Administrative Director of said department/unit. While tutoring, it shall be the responsibility of the Preceptor to provide the Administrative Director pertinent information regarding the overall performance of the employee; said information to be used in the evaluation of the employee.
