PREDESIGN STUDY Clause Samples

The Predesign Study clause outlines the requirement for conducting an initial analysis or investigation before the commencement of formal design work on a project. Typically, this involves gathering relevant data, assessing site conditions, identifying project constraints, and evaluating potential design options to inform the subsequent design process. By mandating a predesign study, the clause ensures that all stakeholders have a clear understanding of the project's context and requirements, thereby reducing the risk of costly changes or unforeseen issues during later project phases.
