PREFACE. This Agreement entered into this 1 day of July, 2015, by and between the Novi Community School District, hereinafter referred to as the District, the Board, or the Employer, and the Novi Food Service Employees Association, affiliated with the Michigan and National Education As- sociations, hereinafter referred to as the Association. The signatories shall be the only parties to this Agreement. The parties acknowledge that each had the unlimited right and opportunity to make demands and proposals with respect to any subject or matter not removed by law from the area of collec- tive bargaining. The understandings and agreements arrived at are set forth in this Agreement. Therefore, the parties for the life of this Agreement agree that neither shall be obligated to bar- gain any subject or matter not specifically addressed in this Agreement. However, the parties may mutually agree to discuss any matter during the life of this Agreement. This Agreement shall constitute the full and complete commitments between the parties. It may be altered or modified through written mutual consent of the parties. This Agreement shall supersede any rules, regulations or practices of the Board which shall be contrary to or inconsistent with its terms.
