PREFERENCE FOR RELIEF ASSIGNMENTS. During periods in which employees are displaced (bumped) as a result of layoffs or any employees are actually on layoff with recall rights, the following procedures will apply for relief assignments: (a) Relief assignments are defined as temporary vacancies in excess of two (2) full consecutive weeks caused by sickness, leaves of absence or accident/injury in the regular full-time staff, which place the store staffing below the minimum number of full-time employees required, as outlined in Article 12. 01.
