Common use of Pregnancy Accommodation Clause in Contracts

Pregnancy Accommodation. The Hospital may request a 22 pregnant nurse to take a leave of absence at any time, if in the Hospital's 23 opinion continued employment at the job may be hazardous to the nurse's 24 health/welfare or interfere with the nurse's duties and responsibilities. A 25 pregnant nurse may not initiate an approved temporary disability leave of 26 absence without the concurrence of the employee's personal physician.
