Presentation and Witnesses. At each step of the grievance procedure, each party shall have the right to include presentation, such witnesses and evidence, as it deems necessary to develop facts pertinent to the grievance. The Association and the Board shall have the right to have its legal counsel(s) present at any stage of the grievance or arbitration process. If either party anticipates using a student as a witness, the student may only participate if the parent has provided written consent and the other party has been provided a three (3) day advance notice in writing. At no time shall the grievant be represented by an administrative official of the District.

  • Experts and witnesses An official of a requested authority may be authorized to appear, within the limitations of the authorization granted, as an expert or witness in judicial or administrative proceedings regarding the matters covered by this Chapter in the jurisdiction of the other Party, and produce such objects, documents, or authenticated copies thereof, as may be needed for the proceedings. The request for an appearance shall indicate specifically on what matters and by virtue of what title or qualification the official will be questioned.
