Preservation; Packing; Packaging. All items shall be packed and packaged in accordance with all applicable international, national and local laws and regulations and with best commercial practices, with consideration to environmental impacts. Polystyrene foam and plastic beads are not environmentally acceptable and shall not be used. Any shelf life or preservation requirements shall be clearly indicated on or with each applicable item. Any timber used in shipments from countries outside of China must be kiln dried or fumigated in accordance with Chinese Quarantine Inspection Service requirements. Straw, soil and animal products must not, under any circumstances, be present in any packaging material or shipping container. An original packing declaration for FCL shipping containers and original fumigation certificates must be supplied in English to Howmet's shipping agent. Supplier must ensure that fumigation facilities utilised are acceptable to the Chinese Quarantine Inspection Service.

(a) Unless otherwise agreed in writing with Arconic, Arconic shall, upon receipt of an accurate invoice, make payment to Supplier in accordance with the terms of this Contract. All invoices shall show the Arconic Contract Number and such other reasonable detail concerning the item or work as is consistent with the terms of this Contract or otherwise requested by Arconic. (b) Payments otherwise due may be withheld by Arconic on account of defective work not remedied, claims filed, reasonable evidence indicating the probable filing of claims, failure of Supplier to make payments properly to its subcontractors or suppliers, reasonable doubt that the Contract can be completed for the balance then unpaid, the failure of Supplier to perform any of its other obligations under this Contract or any other agreement with Arconic, or to protect Arconic against any liability arising out of Supplier's failure to pay or discharge taxes or other obligations under this Contract or any other agreement with Arconic. If the causes for which payment is withheld are removed, the withheld payments will promptly be made. If the causes are not removed on written notice, in addition to its other rights and remedies Arconic may rectify the same at Supplier's expense. (c) If, after all payments to Supplier are made by Arconic, any claim by a subcontractor or supplier to Supplier remains unsatisfied, Supplier shall refund to Arconic all monies that Arconic may be compelled to pay in discharging such a claim, including all costs and le...

  • Packaging Tangible product shall be securely and properly packed for shipment, storage, and stocking in appropriate, clearly labeled, shipping containers and according to accepted commercial practice, without extra charge for packing materials, cases, or other types of containers. All containers and packaging shall become and remain Customer’s property.

  • Course Curriculum, Instruction, and Grading X. Xxxx College courses offered as dual credit, regardless of where they are taught, follow the same syllabus, course outline, textbook, grading method, and other academic policies as the courses outlined in the Hill College catalog. B. Approved courses being taught for dual credit must follow the approved master syllabus of the discipline and of Hill College. C. Textbooks should be identical to those approved for use by Hill College. Courses which result in college‐level credit will follow the standard grading practices of Hill College, as identified by college policy and as identified in the appropriately approved course syllabus. The grades used in college records are A (excellent), B (above average), C (average), D (below average), F (failure), I (incomplete), W (withdrawn), WC (withdrawn COVID). The lowest passing grade is D. Grade point averages are computed by assigning values to each grade as follows: A = 4 points, B = 3 points, C = 2 points, D = 1 point, and F = 0 points. Grading criteria may be devised by Hill College and the ISD to allow faculty the opportunity to award high school credit only or high school and college credit depending upon student performance. E. Faculty, who are responsible for teaching dual credit/concurrent classes, are responsible for keeping appropriate records, certifying census date rosters, providing interim grade reports, certifying final grade reports at the end of the semester, certifying attendance, and providing other reports and information as may be required by Hill College and/or the School District.

  • Contract Formation Subject to FAR Sections 1.601(a) and 43.102, the Government Order must be signed by a duly warranted contracting officer, in writing. The same requirement applies to contract modifications affecting the rights of the parties.
