Common use of President of ONA Clause in Contracts

President of ONA. Upon written request of at least four (4) weeks’ notice, by the Union on behalf of the employee to the Employer, a leave of absence shall be granted to such employee elected to the office of the President for the Ontario Nurses' Association for a period of up to six (6) years. The employee shall continue to accrue seniority and service during her absence. During such leave of absence, the employee's salary and applicable benefits shall be maintained by the Employer and the Union agrees to reimburse the Employer the amount of the full cost of such salary and applicable benefits. The employee agrees to notify the Employer of her intention to return to work at least four (4) weeks prior to the date of return.

President of ONA. Upon written request of at least four (4) weeks’ noticeapplication, in writing, by the Union Association on behalf of the employee nurse to the Employer, a leave of absence shall be granted to such employee nurse elected to the office of the President for the Ontario Nurses' Association for a period of up to six two (62) years. The employee nurse shall continue to accrue seniority and service during her absence. During such leave of absence, the employeenurse's salary and applicable benefits shall be maintained by the Employer and the Union Association agrees to reimburse the Employer the amount of the full cost of such salary and applicable benefits. The employee nurse agrees to notify the Employer of her intention to return to work at least four (4) weeks prior to the date of return.
