Common use of PREVAILING WAGE ORDINANCE Clause in Contracts

PREVAILING WAGE ORDINANCE. The Contractor agrees that section 161.16(e) of the Pittsburgh Code of Ordinances, stating that the Contractor shall pay at least the applicable prevailing wages as shall have been determined by the Secretary of Labor and Industry to the workers employed in the performance of any contract for public work subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act approved August 15, 1961 (Act No. 442), as amended August 9, 1963 (Act No. 342), and the regulations issued pursuant thereto, and all supplements and amendments thereto, shall be made a part of this Prequilified Contract as fully as if attached hereto, and that s/he will comply in all respects with the provisions thereof, insofar as the same affects this contract.
