Prevailing Wage Rates and Payroll Records. 19.5.1. XXXXXXXXXX agrees to comply with §§1775 and 1776 of the California Labor Code relating to the payment of prevailing wage and the maintenance of certified payroll records and to make the certified payroll records available for inspection at all reasonable hours at CONTRACTOR’s principal office. The responsibility for compliance with these provisions is fixed with CONTRACTOR. CONTRACTOR understands and agrees that it shall, as a penalty to COUNTY, forfeit specific monetary fines for each worker paid less than the prevailing wage rates as determined by the Labor Commissioner for the work or craft in which the worker is employed for any Work done pursuant to this Agreement.
