Principle of Security. a. The Employer and the Local agree that increased length of service in the employment of the Employer entitles all employees covered by this agreement to commensurate increase in security of employment provided the employee possesses the necessary qualifications for positions which are available. b. This Article applies only to employees on a continuing appointment.
