Prior To Filing A Grievance. (05) Any questions between the Hotel and an employee or the Union arising out of the interpretation, application, or operation of this Agreement are subject to the grievance procedure. It is also agreed that there shall be no formal grievance until the employee and/or departmental xxxxxxx has had a discussion with his/her immediate supervisor, department head or designate and given this person the opportunity to resolve the issue. The immediate supervisor, department head or designate will make every effort to respond in a timely manner.
