Prior to returning to normal duties, where there has been a combination of normal duties and fire duties of: 7 consecutive days or more, but less than 10 days – a rest period of 1 full day (24 hours) is required as a minimum; or 10 consecutive days or more – a rest period of 2 full days (48 hours) is required as a minimum.
