Priority Rehire. Employees who are laid off with satisfactory attendance and work performance and who apply for re-employment for a position they are qualified for within this Agreement, will receive priority consideration for re-hire over new applicants for twelve (12) months from his/her layoff date.

Employees who are laid off with satisfactory attendance and work performance and who apply for re-employment to a position covered by the same Collective Bargaining Agreement, will receive priority consideration for re-hire over new applicants for twenty-four (24) months from his/her layoff date.
