Private Automobiles. 1. Where an employee is required by a supervisor to use his/her private automobile in the performance of County business, he/she shall be reimbursed at the rate as established by NRS for each mile actually traveled in the performance of such County business. If an employee is required to use a passenger vehicle in the performance of his/her job, the County will make every effort to provide a County vehicle for use. In the event the employee is required to transport a client for any purpose the County must provide an appropriate vehicle. 2. Employees who are assigned to the Spring Mountain Youth Camp shall receive remote area pay of $250 per pay period provided the employee works at least one shift within the pay period. Remote pay will not be reported as compensation to the Public Employees Retirement System for the purpose of including same in the calculation of retirement benefits for employees receiving such pay.
