Procedure for Use of Released Time. Each bargaining unit member shall, upon appropriate notice to and with the approval of the supervisor, be granted release time to respond to fire and EMS runs to which his/her department has been summoned. If the Immediate supervisor is not available, then the bargaining unit member shall contact the next Administrator in a “chain of command” according to the Career Center flowchart.
