The Product Cybersecurity clause establishes requirements and responsibilities for ensuring the security of a product against cyber threats. Typically, this clause outlines the standards or protocols the product must meet, such as regular security testing, vulnerability management, and prompt notification of security incidents. It may also specify the party responsible for implementing security measures and maintaining compliance throughout the product's lifecycle. Product Cybersecurity. Seller must maintain a risk-based program, supported by appropriate technical and operational measures including policies and procedures, to ensure the cybersecurity of any Product that include software, hardware, or other electrical components. Seller’s Product cybersecurity program must provide for security by design, vulnerability management, governance, and any other elements identified by Buyer in a manner consistent with industry best practices, including but not limited to ISO/SAE 21434.
