Supplier Diversity definition

Supplier Diversity shall have the meaning set forth in Section 11.3.
Supplier Diversity means a business that is at least 51 per cent owned, operated, and controlled by, as an example: people who identify as women or gender-diverse, Indigenous, members of a visible minority group or as LGBTQi2S+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, intersex and Two- Spirit).
Supplier Diversity means a program that encourages organizations to purchase goods or services from businesses owned by individuals who are historically marginalized or underrepresented in that jurisdiction, such as racial minorities, women, Aboriginal/Indigenous people, and persons with disabilities.

More Definitions of Supplier Diversity

Supplier Diversity means creating opportunities for diversesuppliers such as Indigenous peoples and employment equitydeserving groups which could include people with disabilities and other underrepresented groups.
Supplier Diversity means, for purposes of the diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility provisions specified in sections 17053.98.1(g)(3)(D) and 23698.1(g)(3)(D) of the Revenue and Taxation Code, contracting with vendors, including but not limited to catering companies, accounting firms, equipment rentals, and postproduction houses, owned and operated by individuals from socially and economically underrepresented groups to support production.

  • Supplier Personnel means Supplier’s employees, consultants, agents, independent contractors and Subcontractors.
